Furthermore, when submitting a manuscript for review and possible publication in our journal, authors must be aware of and strictly adhere to the ethical principles of anthropology. Among other points, this implies that:
- The research conducted must respect the rights and dignity of the individuals and communities involved. Informed consent must be obtained and participant confidentiality must be respected.
- The submitted work must not contain plagiarism or self-plagiarism. All data, ideas, and resources from other authors must be properly attributed.
- The text must be honest and transparent in presenting research results. Data manipulation or falsification is prohibited.
- Cultural differences must be respected and stereotyped or biased representation of human groups must be avoided.
It is the authors' responsibility to ensure that their work complies with these ethical principles. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in manuscript rejection or disciplinary actions as appropriate.
For more information on ethical principles in anthropology, consult the guidelines provided by the Spanish Association of Anthropology or other relevant organizations.
